Siege of Kantarel
The Siege of Kantarel was a battle fought by the Raven Guard.
During the siege, the Raven Guard 9th Company utilized three strike forces of "Chorus" formations, combining Fire Support Squads, Dreadnoughts, and Stormraven Gunships to bring swift firepower anywhere upon the battlefield. They held ten leagues of shoreline against Ork forces from Da Bludflag Pirates. The 9th redeployed to contest each assault as the greenskin landing craft crunched home against the quayside. The Dirge Singers paid a heavy price, losing half of their number to death or injury, but their sacrifice stalled the Ork advance long enough for the Tallarn 293rd Regiment and the Fire Lords Chapter to secure the secondary defense line, ultimately preserving Kantarel’s tech-vaults from defilement.[1]
