Sigma Q-77 is located in the Eastern Fringe on the edge of the Damocles Gulf, across a vast void light years wide and opposite of a densely packed cluster of stars, assumed to be the location of the Tau Empire. Its terrain is noted to be cratered, barren and the hue of a deep, oxide red.

History
Rogue Trader Lucian Gerrit and his children are noted for travelling to Q-77 to meet with a contact whom they were supposed to recieve archeotech from. However the contact which they met with matched a description of being a member of the Tau, and the archeotech they were sent to collect turned out to be weapon samples alluded to being of Tau origin.
Flora and Fauna
It is home, however, to some form of large arachnid. Described as having a lumpy, misshapen body, a metre wide, sat at the centre of at least a dozen long multi-jointed legs. These each end in a cluster of razor sharp talons. It possesses a clutch of eyes upon the body, which are capable of focusing on different objects simultaneously. To hunt it seems to launch itself at its prey with speed, hoping to inflict the killing blow instantly.
