In addition to Tau auxilaries, the Imperium also has been recorded as using Auxiliaries. The imperium has used Mercenary [[Kroot]], albeit in a limited fashion. In addition, [[Abhuman]] regiments such as [[Ogryns]] and [[Ratlings]], or other specialised forces, such as [[Rough Riders]] and Imperial [[Psykers]] (particularly [[Primaris Psyker]]s and [[Sanctioned Psyker]]s), who are broken into smaller units and assigned to other regiments may be classed as Auxiliaries.
Further uses of Auxiliaries include [[Imperial Guard]] platoons, or more likely [[Regiment]]s, seconded to Space Marine Chapters as support.
