Lady Spohr is a Dark Mechanicum Magos, who rules over the Forge World, Quir.[1]

Overview

She has ruled it since the Horus Heresy, when the Warmaster Horus himself, requested that she take command of it. Since then, Spohr has supplied the forces of Chaos, with the Forge World's materials and mineral wealth - provided they can give her a fitting tribute for her services. Those who can not, or give her a gift that displeases the Magos, will soon have their remains hanging from the chimneys of Quir's factories. This is just one of the eccentricities that plague Spohr, who was once a priest of Mars that dwelled in the Tharsis Tholus, before the Heresy. However she has erased much of her memories prior to ruling Quir, as the Magos has determined they are irrelevant to her present life. Despite this though, Spohr unconsciously still dwells on her life on Mars, and has even begun to reshape Quir's surface to recreate the volcanic slopes of Tholus. When Fabius Bile, who made constant visits to request Spohr's aid in creating medical equipment, arrived and made note of the resemblance, the Magos denied it and became angry. She then nearly had Fabius restrained, in order to make good on a deal one of the Clonelord's many enemies offered her, in exchange for his capture. However, Fabius immediately placated her, by offering a unique tribute he had taken from a captured Adeptus Mechanicus Magos - a perfect memory of Mars' surface, before the outbreak of the Mechanicum's civil war. Included in the memory, was an image of Tharsis Tholus and Spohr was so taken by this, that she quickly chose to let Fabius go and agreed to fulfill his request for equipment. She even offered to reveal who asked her to capture Fabius, but the Clonelord told Spohr it was irrelevant, considering the number of enemies he had.[1]
