Sturmhex is a dying blue giant star.[1]
Sturmhex is located in Imperial space and is orbited by at least five planets. The Dead World Sturmhex Prime is the innermost planet, followed by the second and third planets (both of which are Mining Worlds supported by penal colonies) and the dead outer worlds of the system.[1]
At one point, the Daemon Prince Anahk'hir was summoned beneath the surface of Sturmhex Prime by the Lords of Decay, intending to use the star to open a bridgehead for one of Abaddon the Despoiler's Black Crusades. The Chaos Space Marines were defeated by the First Brotherhood of the Grey Knights.[1]
