I'm sorry, the Emperor himself wanted the Cadian defences reinforced? And he communicated this from the Golden Throne, seemingly? Is this incorrect? Citation!?

In older canon materials the Emperor could still communicate after he was interred in the golden throne, for what period of time I dont think was stated. The article does say that "After the 1st Black Crusade, the Emperor had seen fit to build defences" and the 1st Crusade was in M31 - maybe the Emperor was still semi-lucid at this point. Alas, I have neither of the given sources to check. Thelemur 02:13, 24 January 2012 (CET)
Isn't the emperor tarot considered the emperor orders or something like that?--Ashendant 02:16, 24 January 2012 (CET)
And "his will is interpreted and executed by the High Lords of Terra", so it could be taken as meaning that too. Also in the early 40K novel "Inquisitor" (set M41-ish) the main character entered the throne-room and the Emperor spoke to him telepathically; the level of his ability to communication ability post Throne seems to vary according to different background materials. Yes, I know the book you're refering to, from the Inquisition War Trilogy, and heartily enjoy it. I've always assumed it was verging on being declared non-Canon though in this day and age, not least because it employs a Squat character as one of the main protagonists. I do find your supposition of 'His will... interpreted and executed by the High Lords of Terra' a good explanation for it though. Corophasian 00:22, 02 March 2012 (GMT)
