Talk:Confrontation (game)

I feel that "Although Confrontation shared a similar game-system and rules with the later Necromunda, there were many noticeable differences." isn't really accurate at all, probably the most similar of the entire combat rules are the shooting to-hit rules, but they are practically he antithesis of eachother: Necromunda shooting is resolved by a high roll on a modified d6 with a target derived from a Ballistic Skill that ranges from 1 to 10. Confrontation used a low roll on a d100, with modifiers being applied to the models Ballistic Skill that ranged from 70 to 170.

"Although Confrontation shared a similar game-system and rules with the later Inquisitor, there were many noticeable differences." would be far more accurate.

Something that should perhaps be mentioned is that Confrontation was very much an uncredited update of the game Laserburn (game mentioned on the 40k and Bryan Ansell pages). (Gashrog)

Then write it and don't forget the footnotes. And stay clear from speculation, unless you have really good sources (Laserburn). --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 08:24, 12 June 2013 (CEST)
