Talk:Imperial Navy
Alas, all the lovely info added here has no source, and as such should technically be deleted :( If the person who made this see this, please source it as it looks pretty good stuff.--Jonru 21:21, 23 November 2007 (CET)
Just something I was wondering
Sorry if this seems like a n00b question, but here goes; Imperial ships: How do they land? Because their design seems rather, well, gothic, (that is, spikey) you would think that if they landed horizontally then they would break off a piece, and if they landed vertically they would probably sink into a pit of self-made lava. I guess they don't realy need to land, they could shuttle or drops troops and supplies to/from the surface, and they could be constructed and/or repaired entirely in space from space stations. I guess they could land in oceans, but what if that particualr planet has no oceans, or (like Terra), it's oceans are so polluted that they have become acidic? --Judah 22:37, 31 May 2008 (CEST)
I assume the Big ones don't, and spend the entirety of their lifetimes in space.--Zor 11:46, 31 August 2008 (CEST)
- Indeed, i'd imagine the majority of navy ships never see the ground, intentionally. Special landing ships are built for that purpose but you'd never get an Emperor class battleship setting down on a planet (unless it crashed...)--Jonru 12:18, 31 August 2008 (CEST)
Should their be a section here dedicated to the Crews of the Ships of the Imperium of Man?--Zor 11:46, 31 August 2008 (CEST)
- Indeed there should be, including slavery in navy ships and serfdom in some Marine ships.--Jonru 12:18, 31 August 2008 (CEST)
