Took out the Macharian Crusade info as the 5th ed rulebook appears to void it (the dates at least) by setting the whole Crusade much earlier. --Mob 11:36, 29 September 2008 (CEST)

A whole segment of history missing because some idiot at GW was incapable again to check numbers... --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 11:40, 29 September 2008 (CEST)

I would like to make a comment about "765.M41" "Space Marine Chapter Losses," this cannot include chapters going renegade or falling to chaos. More Chapters are known to have fallen than the number of chapters we are told here have been lost. This is either a continuity error or these figures intentionally do not include these numbers. If either is the case, I would suggest removing this entry because it is misleading. I would also like to point out that Lord Commander Solar Macharius is listed as being born after the Macharian Crusade has taken place. The date of Macharius' birth is outdated so I intend to remove it. --Merthus 00:44, 31 December 2010 (UTC)

Logan Grimnar

I was looking at the timeline and noticed that Grimnar supposedly became Great Wolf roughly 215 years after the First war for Armageddon. But if I remember my Imperial history he has been Great Wolf for over five hundred years according to the codices which would have made him Great Wolf around the time of the First War for Armageddon. Also in the 5th edition codex on page 22 he is referred to Great Wolf in the piece on said war of Armageddon. So why are these mistakes on the timeline?

Because GW rewrites the background way too often ;-)
For example, on the Horus Heresy we have at least 5 partially contradictory accounts (Horus Heresy Artwork, Horus Heresy-novels, Codex CSM 4th Edition, Black Crusade Rulebook, Horus Heresy 1 - Betrayal), all of which are equally considered valid and canon.
