How is it that Mandulis was at the First Battle of Armageddon? His death occurred 1,000 years prior to the events of [i]Grey Knights[/i], which documents the 13th Black Crusade as taking place during the novel.

Moreover, both Logan Grimnar and Ulric the Slayer were both at Armageddon. The Old Wolf tops out around 700ish years old currently, which would be during the 13th Crusade.

Therefore, Mandulis would have been dead for 300ish years before Grimnar was inducted into the Space Wolves.
