Talk:Mont'au

I'm questioning the correctness of this article. Call me a nitpick but the Greater Good article says it was a time of civil war and that Mont'au means Death Age. This article however claims it was an age in which the Tau were threatened to be exterminated by the Imperium. The only thing both articles have in common is the rise of the ethereals and them introducing the caste system... As neither articles have any sourcing, and I'm not in possession of the Tau Codex my question is: can anyone confirm this info? -- JoeneB, 21 February 2007, 20:25 (CET)

Hmm, apparently I wrote that... I dont think that can be right. I don't remember seeing anywhere that the Imperium visit and the civil war were related, in fact i'm not sure of either date. I don't know where i got that from, most likely an internet source, probably one of the gw ones. Will look again if I get a spare moment. --Jonru 20:46, 21 February 2007 (CET)

OK let's use the Codex Tau 3rd edition: "Mont'au ....The Terror. The Tau race's worst nightmare. The time before the coming of the Ethereal caste when the other castes were set against each other. A barbaric time of war that the Tau fear could return should any Tau put themselves before the Greater Good." Hmmm, that's why they are so afraid of commander Farsight, to the point of conspiring with the inquisition to kill him (read the novel Last chancer's for details). Irulan 23:20, 21 February 2007 (CET)
