I have created a portal box for the Inquisition. It can be found at Template:InqPortal. To include in an article, use {{InquisitionPortal}}. --Rlyehable 11:57, 31 May 2007 (CEST)

An Idea

I think that we should make a "project page" for this, i.e. an addition to the Portal Page (I can set it up easily) that deals with organization structure. The Inquisition is unique in that its army and its militants are separate organizations. We should come up with a unified way to get all the information for the three big Ordos set up and their specific chambers. How does that sound? Once we get a unfied and specific structure, it would just be a matter of putting in information. SanchiTachi 19:57, 31 May 2007 (CEST)

Structuring is good, we haven't really looked much at Portals (in any detail really). The project page would be just for Portal:Inquisition presumably? We really need to decide how portals are going to work and what will be on them (2 options i see, what we have now and the other being what needs to be done without much info).--Jonru 21:01, 31 May 2007 (CEST)
I could work on this, as school is only 6 days from being over.(yay!!! :D) Perhaps a chart done up on microsoft paint would show it. We could use the Inquisition Portal as a testing ground.---Psyco 21:33, 31 May 2007 (CEST)
I was thinking about a chart too. Come up with a jpeg design and I can see if I can turn it into wiki code (so you can actually look at it on the page and click on the different stuff). There are some charts from the old Sisters of Battle book and the new Witch Hunters book about the Ecclesiarchy/Inquisition structure, and there are some other charts in various Warhammer 40,000 rule books that could be used as a reference. Basically. Then once we work the Inquisition Portal page out, we should try to go down the certain pages. There are three main branches and a misc. branch (the three Ordos and the other related groups) that will have three paths. We need to work out how we should put each thing. Portal:Inquisition/Project, as you can see, there would be a lot of stuff not included on the Portal Page. The Portal Page should keep the "new" pages listed, have a section for important pages (or incorporate them into a "story" like situation we have going on now), and probably a link to the Project page. I don't want to trample on current structure or anything. I just think it might help get rid of the clutter and let people put a notice on whats going on at a time to divide and conquer on needed sections. :) SanchiTachi 23:03, 31 May 2007 (CEST)
Here is a chart I made up: Inquisition chart.JPG comments, ect? ---Psyco 15:32, 2 June 2007 (CEST)

Unit Pages

I don't think there should be individual pages for units, as they end up as stubs. They should probably be combined into one large page called "units of whatever" and then if there is one that has significant amount of history/background, like the standard space marine or terminator, then it should have its own individual page, but most don't have enough information for it. This is just a frame of reference and can be altered later.

To do

Put a list of jobs/pages to work on, top five are priority.

Red Links

I think this should be obvious. :)

Frame of reference

Put a list of types of pages (army page, militant page, armoury page, etc) and a link to the example that we want people to follow (and/or a link to an organization model for people to copy and paste into a new page if needed).

A few questions put out for a few days to get people's feelings on organisational issues or the like.

Lists of Catagories

I think this should be obvious. :)

List of Pages

All the pages connected directly to the topic.

Ordo Hereticus

Ordo Malleus

Ordo Xenos

Lists of Other Pages

Pages indirectly connected to the topic.

New topic for discussion

Why are the Sisters on here? They're not Inquisition - they should have their own section, or be part of the Imperium section.

They are included because they are the Order Militant for the Ordo Hereticus, and can be found through the Imperium portal as well. BrotherKeef 17:58, 7 August 2013 (CEST)
