No rules, that includes traits. --Inquisitor S. 14:11, 22 January 2007 (CET)

Does it break the Lexicanum guidelines to create a link to an official GW document, on a GW website listing traits? --Rlyehable 18:32, 8 February 2007 (CET)

Hmmmm... glad you said that about the traits. It was on there before I modified the page and I wasn't sure whether to leave it there or not. The same traits thing was on the Mantis Warriors page too. I'd bet it's also on the Executioners, Lamenters etc. --newsdeskdan 18:13, 8 February 2007 (GMT)

Yes, I had put them on the other chpaters listed in GW's Badab War weekend. They have been taken off several times. I did not know if it was an editing error (removing something by mistake) of if I were violating some policy. I would not think that pointing to a GW published .pdf would violate policy, but I was unsure enough to start a discussion of it. --Rlyehable 22:36, 8 February 2007 (CET)

You can link to the GW download page but not directly to the pdf document. Sorry, I know it doesn't make much sense, but that's what their rules say. --Inquisitor S. 23:03, 8 February 2007 (CET)

Okay cool. Thanks for clearing that up Inquisitor S.!--newsdeskdan 22:17, 8 February 2007 (GMT)

No problem, that kind of stuff is my job ;) No, seriously, if you have this kind of problem it would be better to ask on my user talk page or send me an e-mail because sometimes I don't have the time to check all talk pages :) --Inquisitor S. 23:41, 8 February 2007 (CET)

Lecture Source

The above seems to need additional information to qualify as a source. It should include:

  1. Who gave the lecture
  2. Where it was given (Games Day UK, Chicago, Baltimore, Spain)
  3. Date (and time?) it was given.
  4. Who attended and is reporting this information

This article is simply suspect

I am not challenging the existance of this chapter in the 40K (they appear in the Babad War rules), but some things in ths article are strange. The last source leads to the "cursed chapters" but the Red Scorpions don't appear there at all. The Scorpion image is in IMHO from "Legends of the 5 Rings". While some provided links truly lead to a mention of the Red Scorpions (you have to look properly) others lead to such place. Some provided links should simply be deleted. Look for example at the German counterpart article. Notice how the Scorpion image is very diffrent? While the "scorpion images" these days are a bit standart, in this case the image is contrary (left to right) (seiten verkehrt). Notice also that the German page has a much poorer background. This article has amazingly (and to be honest suspiciously) a lots of background. Irulan 14:46, 18 June 2007 (CEST)

I referenced the Cursed Founding GW Online as it clarifies the Minotaurs also being involved in protecting spacelanes and being brought in at the same time as the Red Scorpions to do so during the Badab War (they are also reassigned in M41.907 at the same time as the Red Scorpions). It seems the Red Scorpions faced off against the Executioners whilst the Minotaurs took on the Lamenters. It was to justify mentioning the Minotaurs. The WD reference regarding the Cursed Foudning is pointless, my mistake (removed). Also the direct link to the pdf needs removing as well, apologies I read the guidelines and can see it shouldn't link direct to pdfs (although not sure how anyone will find it otherwise, but removed and points to events home page as other Darkstars events are there). As for the M32 entries, and fighting the Word Bearers, I can find no references to corroborate that, or the fact there is no current High Lord Commander (it is merely unknown). I have a correct image of the chapter symbol somewhere, I'll dig it out. Phelonious 19:21, 18th June 2007 ((GMT))

Chapter Master

The page indicates the current Chapter Master is Carab Culln. This is incorrect. Imperial Armour v.4 states that whilst the Red Scorpions are a Codex chapter they do differ in their interpretation of the Codex. Pg121 "Organisation" states: "The Captains of each company of the Red Scorpions are known by the honorary title "Commander". The Chapter Master is traditionally called the "Lord High Commander". As a matter of tradition the Chapter's second-in-command is always the Master of the Apothecary"

The page also identifies Culln as "Commander Carab Culln, 1st Company, Red Scorpions". This clearly indicates that Culln is the 1st Company Captain NOT the Chapter Master as stated. --Orthar Rrith 19:18, 4 October 2008 (CEST)

New Information in Imperial Armour 6 and 7

Some additional tidbits from Imperial Armour 6 and 7, specifically named characters, capital ships, and the first instance of the Lord High Commander actually named (Imperial Armour 7, page 61) -- Verant Ortys. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be ANY entry for Imperial Armor 6 OR 7, so it's hard to put citations. I'll update some of the information anyway, but it would be nice if entries for 6 and 7 were done as well. --Myssa Rei 02:47, 11 October 2009 ((GMT+8)).
