Talk:Sons of Medusa

None of the sources listed give the Sons of Medusa as an Iron Hands successor... So where does this bit come from? Because they've got "Medusa" in their name? If so it's hardly proof enough, or the Blood Ravens would be of mixed Blood Angels/Raven Guard geneseed! Moreover, as can be seen in several artworks depicting Ultramarines, they've been using the gorgon head as one of their symbols too, so they may very well be Ultra successors! /Nash 15:58, 24 March 2008

I changed the Geneseed and Founding to "Unknown", please give a source for these informations or leave them "unknown"! /Nash

Medusa is a planet. "Sons of Medusa" presumably denotes descent from that planet of origin. "Blood" and "Ravens," meanwhile, are simply names. Further, the chapter appears to be organized into clans, just as the Iron Hands are. I believe these two facts, taken together, can reliably point to descent from the Iron Hands. --Crymson

Imperial Armour 10 states they are Iron Hands successors. Thanks.--Mob 13:27, 13 March 2011 (CET)

@Crymson: any speculation and presumptions are forbidden, no discussion. Either a geneseed is known and explicitly stated or it is "unknown". --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 13:13, 29 March 2011 (CEST)
