Anyone else think we should remove the followers section? Familiars could be classed as equipment, but serfs etc. are certainly not. The Lemur 23:23, 6 June 2012 (CEST)

Yes, but the info should be preserved somewhere. I suggest the "organization"-section of the chapter-article.
Infos on the position of the Equerry can be found in Horus Rising and False Gods, but I can't find the chapter-numbers right now. --DetlefK 00:31, 7 June 2012 (CEST)
You think best place for mentioning serfs etc. is in the Chapter page then? There are so many SM pages I'm really not sure where the most appropriate place is. Think I should add a "Non-combatants" section to Chapter page? The Lemur 01:14, 7 June 2012 (CEST)
My first guess would have been a "culture"-section in the "Space Marines"-Article, but we only have that in the german Lex, not here. So the Chapter-page is the next-best.
Chapter Serfs are non-combatants. Equerry seems to be kind of an unofficial position for a Space Marine, on top of his regular duties. (I don't remember a source mentioning them after the Second Founding.) Maybe a section "servants"? --DetlefK 13:31, 7 June 2012 (CEST)
I was using the followers section in the Deathwatch RPG as a basis which include, from First Founding:
  • Chapter Serf
  • Equerry
  • Watcher in the Dark (Dark Angels)
  • Cenobyte Servitor (Black Templars)
  • Familiar (Librarian)
  • Fenrisian Wolf (Space Wolves)
And then there is the Skull of Bantor (Deathwatch) in Rites of Battle.--Ashendant 17:08, 7 June 2012 (CEST)
