The Griffon Resurgent was a titanic space battle between the warships of the Howling Griffons' First Company and the forces of the Daemon Prince Periclitor above the Imperium world of Albitern during the 13th Black Crusade. The Howling Griffons bore an intense hatred towards Periclitor for killing their Chapter Master Orlando Furioso at the Battle of Arios Quintus, and were able to settle the score by banishing the Daemon Prince during the height of the battle.[1]
