Tractoris Servitors, or more commonly known as Tractoris Dummies, are an obscure form of Servitor that Space Marines use in unarmed combat sparring.[1]

Description

Unlike Combat Servitors, which Space Marines use their weaponry upon and rarely last longer than a month, Tractoris Dummies usually survive these sessions. They are designed to take a beating without the need for much maintenance and are made of padded, soft transplasteks with faceless heads. This gives the Tractoris an unusually smooth appearance when compared to other Servitor designs or other Imperial devices. In actuality, Tractoris give no evidence of their biological nature and their Human brains are buried within the Servitor's chest cavity.[1]

When not in use, they are kept in glass coffins, but when a Tractoris is activated, sensor lights will begin to wink behind their featureless faces. The Servitor will then ask for its user needs and training program before their sparring will start. However Tractoris are less versatile than Combat Servitors and they move in a predictable series of combat routines, or follow a mirror mode that matches their users' movements. This is in part because the Servitors are intended to help reinforce Space Marines' muscle memory. Tractoris users are encouraged to think on other matters during their sparring routines and most of the Servitors' modes are designed for this in mind. Space Marines need to barely use any mental power against the Servitors, which helps them to further bed their unarmed skills into their subconscious. These skills includes various combat forms, light contact strikes and takedowns.[1]
