Travo'anor is an Industrial World, located in the northern reaches of Segmentum Obscurus.[1]

History

Ruled by a conglomeration of techno-empires that laid claimed to the mineral-rich planet and its seven moons, when it was recovered during the Great Crusade its people proved eager to join the Imperium.[1]

In time, it became a chief producer of armaments in the Segmentum, serving as a vital resupply point for Expeditionary Fleets. By the time of the Horus Heresy Travo'anor had ties with several Forge Worlds, which saw various outside groups try to bind the world to a single enclave. Travo'anor resisted these actions, though it did allow many Forge Worlds to build forge-fanes upon its surface for the purpose of trade and diplomacy. Many Forge Worlds took this as opportunity to station military forces on the world, including Titans. Thus when the Heresy broke out, it had nearly a dozen Titan Legions represented on the world. The resulting Siege of Travo'anor saw traitor efforts foiled by Warmaster Titans at the world's capital of Novavistra.[1]
