Citations

  • What is the current/approved citation style?
    • Should this style be retroactively applied when coming across articles in the old code format?
      • If so, would it be better to leave that to a bot, if able to be written?
    • How does this page tie in with the {{howtosource}} template?

Updating

"Do your ducts seem old fashioned, out of date?"

  • SOURCING RESOURCES - neither the {{howtosource}} template nor the actual help page on sourcing appear to be using the currently accepted format. (Which appears to be the use of {{Fn|#}} and {{Endn|#}} or something similar.)
  • Lexicanum:Image_Upload_Help - Copy edit for clarification, add pics? (GermanWiki even has explanatory page with images for Navigation menus!)
Yes, you can search using This page, but unknown whether this is one of the automatic checks/warnings during uploading.

Redlinks

All the link that's fit to-- 'ERROR 404: FILE NOT FOUND'.

Sources of redlinks:

  • Authors/designers/artists (on every RPG book article usw.)
  • RPG books
  • Automatically entered item in category table template
I would advocate removing these links (mainly author/artists) until they are considered important to the wiki - that is, once more in-universe content projects have been better fleshed out. Individual author/artists can be linked from one to twenty projects, but how urgent is the need to have information on them?

Full of redlinks:

  • Lexicanum:Contributing - Rectify as these are needed for the usefulness of the article.
  • RPG books - Consider removing links (even temporarily) unless author/designer/artists considered essential for wikiknowledge.

Sourcing

Hittin' the books.

Help pages

Incomplete, redlinking or unclear help pages.

Lexicanum:Source

To add:
  • Category:Sources (see Proteus77)

Lexicanum:Contributing - three redlinks - old links or never completed pages?

Lexicanum:Image_Upload_Help - Copy edit for clarification, add pics? (GermanWiki even has an [explanatory page] with images for Navigation menus!)

Lexicanum:Handbook

  • How does this go with the help pages 1-3? Was it that the intro pages could use some cross-referencing as well as less doubling up? Review.

Help Portal

Lexicanum:Help - Navigation buttons tuts - almost entirely redlinks
