You Betancore-article is missing internal references. Please remember that one of the main goals is to have pages that direct to every other article mentioned in the text, thank you. And you have to include categories of course.--Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 23:55, 8 July 2008 (CEST)

Hi there!

This is probably the wrong place to reply, but I'm not entirely sure how to do that yet! I'm going to be adding internal references as soon as I've checked there are pages to refer to, and will also look into adding categories (not 100% sure about it all - first time doing this!).

Internal referencing is easy: just put everything 40K relevant into square brackets (eg [[XY]]) and don't forget to source the paragraphs if there is more than one source for an article (just put 1 with the corresponding number behind the text and then down in front of the corresponding source). Categories are done with [[Category:XY]] at the very end of the article. All available categories can be found here. As an orientation I would suggest to have a look at other articles on the same topic (e.g. Eisenhorn). --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 00:04, 9 July 2008 (CEST)
EDIT: Don't restrict internal references to existing articles. If you do that somebody else will have to check all articles by hand to see if he has to insert a reference there when he has created a new article!--Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 00:06, 9 July 2008 (CEST)

Cheers for the heads-up - really useful! I was actually doing that for the Betancore article - he's mentioned in a few places but not linked to until now. I'll add in a load more and try to do the pages myself at some point, and will also have a go at linking to paragraphs as well as articles.

Yeah, such things happen, normally I am not around here too much as the German Lex requires my attention. The advantage of linking to non-existing articles by the way is, that they will apear in the "Wanted" list, increasing the chance for relevant articles to be created. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 00:12, 9 July 2008 (CEST)
Edit: Don't forget to put your signature (--~~~~ which is automatically transformed into your name and date) if you write something on a talk page (but never ever in articles themselves). --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 00:14, 9 July 2008 (CEST)
