Hy, there! I have noticed that you have been uploading many good images of 40K. I want to ask you to carry on, as images (and good ones to boot) are always welcome. But.. there two minor extra things you could do.

As you upload an image a Copyright status field appears "below". You only need to write: Copyright

This generates a whole text listing all the trademarks belong to Games Workshop (and all the legal mumbo jumbo).

After you uploaded an image (it is better to do this after uploading) you could categorize the image. There are plenty of categories but you can easily find them at Category:Images. Just take a quick look, please. Thanks. Irulan 23:40, 26 March 2008 (CET)

Again, as Irulan said, read the Image Check List and follow every step, source, category, copyright and description are ALL needed. --Madness 20:02, 6 May 2008 (CEST)

How to add sources

It is compulsory to add official sources for ANY change or addition of information!

The new text has to be marked with a footnote.

Example:

new text1

This footnote is then referenced under "Sources" at the end of the article:

Example:

Sources
*1: Codex XY, p. xx

Please note that it is absolutely compulsory to include pagenumbers (in the case of novels chapter numbers)!

If you are referencing different pages/ chapters from the same source the source itself is marked with a number, the individual pages or chapters by letters:

Example:

new text1: p. xy ... new text1: p. yz
Sources
*1: Codex XY:

In the case of novels, no pagenumbers should be given (they vary between translations and print runs). In this case chapternumbers are compulsory.

Example:

new text1: ch. xy ... new text1: ch. yz
Sources
*1: XY (Novel):

Please first test this function in the Lexicanum:Immaterium.
