Vaskale Solar
Vaskale Solar[1a] was a Solar Auxilia veteran, who was the Warden of the Watch for the Imperial Palace's Blackstone prison, during the Horus Heresy's Battle for Terra.[1b]
History
When Terra's invasion initially began, Solar was among the Imperium's forces that were defending the Imperial Palace. However he later lost his leg and mashed his hip, while fighting to protect the Palace's Dawn Gate and was forced to use crutches to move around. Solar could still serve in other ways, though, and was made the Warden of Blackstone, replacing its previous Warden who was sent to defend the Palace. By that time, Blackstone had been used to house inmates taken from the Palace's other prisons, but Solar did not know why this occurred. He was annoyed by this, however, as he felt that too much resources and space were being used to keep the prisoners. Solar felt they should all be killed instead, so that the resources could help the Palace's Imperial citizens who were suffering, because of the invasion.[1b]
