In M41, a rebellion on the planet was put down by Darke's Company, the mercenary force of the Rogue Trader Janus Darke.^[1a] Sergeant Kham Bell of Darke's Company found a Dreamstone on one of the defender's bodies.^[1b]

Description

The snows of Winterhome IX were described as cold and beautiful by Janus Darke.^[1a]

As well as having a human population, the planet was also inhabited by Stormbears.^[1c]
