Xhofar Beruddin was the Captain of the Sons of Horus's 5th Company, near the end of the Horus Heresy.[1]

History

This occurred during the Heresy's Siege of Terra, following the debacle at the Saturnine Wall that saw the deaths of much of the Sons of Horus' leadership. This included the 5th Company's previous Captain, Horus Aximand, who Beruddin replaced. However he was considered to be a poor copy of his predecessor.[1]

Later during the final stages of the Siege, Beruddin drove deep into the Delphic Battlement of the Inner Palace and engaged with the White Scars' forces. He politely ignored Abaddon's summons to return to him at once and make for their flagship, the Vengeful Spirit, after its Void Shields were lowered. Beruddin instead continued fighting and urged the First Captain to join him in the Traitors' final victory over the Imperium.[2] After the death of Warmaster Horus, however, Beruddin and the 5th Company retreated back into orbit and rallied around the Vengeful Spirit, which was now under Abaddon's command.[3]
