Xolazi Imhele
Xolazi Imhele is an Ordo Astra Inquisitor, who is investigating the forces of the Wardens of the Gauntlet, to determine if they are attempting to form a Space Marine Legion.[1]
History
She has dispatched her Inkhorn-Sage Sebikos Edjo to the Nachmund Gauntlet to investigate the matter, along with a larger number of servants to aid him. Edjo has since begun compiling a list of Chapters serving in the Wardens and sends Imhele weekly status reports. But his list is nowhere near to being completed, nor has Sage determined the exact makeup of each Chapters' forces in the Gauntlet. This is due to the combat losses the Wardens have suffered, along with the fact that new detachments from Chapters join them every cycle. Due to the difficulty of conducting the task in an active war zone, and that his servants have also suffered losses, Edjo has recently requested that Inquisitor Imhele send him additional resources. The Savant has sworn, though, that if there is even a hint that the Wardens are forming a Legion, he will find it. His research so far, however, has led him to believe that Lord Commander Guilliman himself, has had a hand in the Wardens' creation. As brilliant as a strategist as he is, Edjo is sure Guilliman knew that such a group would be formed after he charged the Castellans of the Rift with defending the Nachmund Gauntlet. Such a difficult task, would have left the overburdened Castellans no choice but to call on other Chapters to aid them.[1]
