The '''Talon of Horus''' (originally known as '''The Warmaster's Talon'''{{Fn|3}}) is a large [[Lightning Claw]] fitted with an early custom-built [[Combi-Bolter]] that is wielded by [[Abaddon the Despoiler]].

The Talon of Horus was is believed to have been originally built by the [[Dark Mechanicum]] for [[Warmaster]] [[Horus]] shortly before the start of the [[Horus Heresy]]{{Fn|1}}{{Fn|2}}, but although according to others, the Talon was a relic of the [[Dark Age of Technology]] that was discovered on the planet [[Clthon]].{{Fn|3}} The Talon was taken up by Abaddon after his master's death and the reclamation of Horus' body from the hands of the [[Emperor's Children]] following the [[Battle of Harmony]].{{Fn|1}}{{Fn|2}}
