The Great Companies are unique to the Space Wolves Chapter of Space Marines. Where most Chapters are organized into ten Companies of 100 warriors, the Space Wolves are grouped into thirten Great Companies of 100 warriors, each having different iconography and banner symbols. When working with multiple Great Companies on a large crusade, they would use the iconography of the first Great Company, to avoid confusion on the battlefield.
