The Spheres of Longing is a philosofic work by the noted Inquisitor Gideon Ravenor.*1
It was in this paper that Ravenor first wrote the now famous saying; "A Mind Without Purpose Will Walk In Dark Places". Even the great Space Marines are know to sometimes quote Ravenor,*2 as well as Coloner-Commissar Ibram Gaunt*3
