The Delta Wing is a massive transport aircraft used by the Imperium to carry high-ranking officers.[1]
Description
The Delta Wing has a prow-mounted spherical glass cockpit and giant jet turbines in gimbal mounts. The turbines can rotate from a horizontal to a vertical position for landing, arresting the aircraft in mid-air after which it descends on landing struts. Passengers disembark by a ramp extending from the belly.[1]
The Delta Wing can be painted matt silver with beige jag-stripes and yellow chevrons on the wingtips.[1]
