The Avenger Bolt Cannon is one of the primary weapons of the Imperial Navy's Avenger Strike Fighter and Fire Raptor Gunship. A rapid-firing Gatling bolt weapon, the Avenger bolt cannon is known to be an effective tank-killer[1] by easily punching through the weaker side and top armour of armoured vehicles with its massive shells,[2] plutonium-cored anti-armour bolt-shell fired at a rate of twenty rounds per second.[3]
Trivia
The Avenger Bolt Cannon's name, appearance, and role closely matches that of the United States Air Force GAU-8 Avenger Gatling Gun, used on A-10 Thunderbolt II attack aircraft.
