The Catachan XXIV, known as the "Waiting Death"^[1][2], or "Hellbringers"^[3] are a Catachan Jungle Fighters regiment of the Astra Militarum.^[1][2][3]

• Unknown Date: The Regiment fought with the Sirens Xenos species on Darwin.^[3]

Conflicting sources

Codex: Imperial Guard (5th Edition) and Codex: Astra Militarum (8th Edition) state the XXIV's nickname is the "Waiting Death"^[1][2], while The Inquisition (Background Book) states it is the "Hellbringers" instead.^[3] It is possible that there have been multiple incarnations of this regiment.
