Flat-crab (Siege Weapon)
"Flat-crabs" were siege tanks deployed by the Ferrozoicans during the Siege of Vervunhive.[1]
Overview
Named by the defenders of Vervunhive for a type of edible crustacean native to the Hass Estuary on Verghast, flat-crabs were designed as siegebreakers. A single flat-crab was as large as four or five regular tanks and heavily armoured, covered in a series of overlapping plates. Each was armed a single heavy weapon in a dorsal mount. In addition, a flat-crab carried an armoured prow that doubled as a ram.[1]
