A Borer Beetle[1]
Borer Beetles are small Tyranid organisms, that are used as living ammunition in certain Tyranid bio-weapons, such as the Fleshborer[2a][2b] and Fleshborer Hive.[2c]
Bio-Adapted Borer Grub
Hive Fleet Leviathan has the ability to bio-adapt a Borer Beetle, that is perfectly formed to annihilate an invaded world's native fauna. Indeed, these Beetles are far more complex bio-creatures, than the warrior-organisms that bear them to battle.[3]
