The Order of the Golden Light is a minor Order of the Sisters of Battle and are descended from the Order of Our Martyred Lady.^[1a][4]

Overview

Though they are one of the smallest Orders Militant, the Golden Light embody the fiery passion of Saint Katherine and have inspired great hope and fear across the numerous Wars of Faith. However questions have arisen about the Order, as on two separate occasions, the Golden Light has been confirmed to have been martyred in battle. Despite this, though, the Order's Sisters have always appeared in a war zone near their supposed death sites. There are also whispers, that the Imperium's Schola Progenium databanks contain no record of the Order of the Golden Light having recruited new members. This has given rise to the belief that the Order's Sisters are all martyrs, who have been resurrected.^[1a]
