Shrine of Martyrs are dedicated to those who have died heroically in the Imperium's wars.^[1]

Description

Some are dedicated to specific conflicts, such as the final battle to defend Cadia during the 13th Black Crusade. That Shrine is known to have Pilgrim Guardsmen visit it, in order to pay their respects to the Fortress World's dead.^[1]
