Together, they created [[Black Library Magazines#Inferno!|Inferno!]] magazine. This featured short stories and later lead to the creation of [[Black Library Magazines#Warhammer Monthly|Warhammer Monthly]] and the various novels. Later, the Black Library picked up the [[Black Library Magazines#Citadel Journal|Citadel Journal]] magazine and discontinued the two others.
The literary magazines elaborated on many traditional aspects of the Warhammer 40,000 game and created brand new concepts, even introducing some of their own [[Black Library gaming|gaming materials]] for the various games.
