They are also found on [[Imperial]] worlds that contain [[Adeptus Mechanicus|Mechanicus]] enclaves and the Astynomia have jurisdiction over crimes committed there. Should they be required to work with non-Mechanicus organizations, the Astynomia will use a liaison, which could be from the [[Collegiate Extremis]]{{Fn|1b}}. The Collegiate Extremis' normal duties, though, can lead to conflict with the Astynomia and there are long-standing suspicions between the two organizations{{Fn|1c}}. However, the Collegiate does recruit members of the Astynomia, who have excelled within its ranks.{{Fn|1d}}
