He is a former member of the [[Armageddon Steel Legion]] and fought at [[Hades Hive]] during the [[Second War for Armageddon]]. Sometime after this he would then be stranded in a [[Warp Storm]] for an unknown amount of time spanning around 200 years. It is rumored that he was the only survivor onboard the [[Golgotha]]-class transport when he was found by [[Inquisitor]] [[Grendyl]].{{Fn|2b}}
At an unknown point he would be part of a team engaged in the [[Xanatros Purgation]]. The military action upon the planet of [[Xanatros]] was initially against a secessionists but the world would reveal itself as being infested by [[Genestealer| Genestealers]]. Three [[Mordian Iron Guard]] Regiments and a company of [[Doom Legion]] would battle the Genestealer Cult and result the resulting in the three Mordian regiments being nearly almost entirely wiped out and the [[Space Marines]] taking unspecified casualties.{{Fn|2b}}{{Fn|2c}}
Some of Grendyl's operatives suggest Morrow was already an inquisitorial agent while engaged in the Xanatros Purgation and was part of an unspecified team lost during the events on Xanatros, acting as the inquisitor's eyes and ears.{{Fn|2c}}
