Vincent Morrow is was a veteran of sergeant when he fought in the [[First War for Armageddon]] and a sergeant at the time.{{Fn|4}}
Morrow was involved in the [[Xanatros Purgation]] while serving Inquisitor Grendyl. The military action upon the planet of [[Xanatros]] was initially against a secessionists but the world would reveal itself as being infested by [[Genestealer| Genestealers]]. Three [[Mordian Iron Guard]] Regiments and a company of [[Doom Legion]] would battle the Genestealer Cult resulting in the three Mordian regiments being almost entirely wiped out and the [[Space Marines]] taking unspecified casualties.{{Fn|2b}}{{Fn|2c}}
