Talk:Octocalvariae

Dante once named Octocalvariae as "Enslaver". Could it be that it belonged to the race Enslavers before its fall to Chaos?--Darkelf77 (talk) 10:11, 23 November 2017 (MST)

Sorry I just saw this. Do you remember what source Dante says that in?--Dram (talk) 16:55, 6 January 2018 (MST)

  • It was in Chapter Eight of the 'Devastation of Baal' novel. Though now I think Dante just uses a term, not a name of a Xeno-race.--Darkelf77 (talk) 01:42, 7 January 2018 (MST)

I checked the Chapter and I think you're right, that it was the term being used.

‘You are the enslaver,’ said Mephiston. ‘By warpcraft you subjugated three Imperial systems, and seduced their inhabitants away from the light of the Emperor, and damned them for all eternity. Your confinement here is just. We would kill you, if we could.’

Is this the line you were referring too?:--Dram (talk) 16:38, 7 January 2018 (MST)

  • Yep. It is. Mephiston just mean 'the one who enslaves' there. Otherwise it would be written with a capital letter.--Darkelf77 (talk) 23:49, 7 January 2018 (MST)
