Talk:Plasma weapon

Is there any official source that says that the plasma is kept in a thing of magnetism? I've been behind the times on the latest fluff updates, but if not I'd like to edit it to a more scientifically sound explanation of a 'tube' of magnetic energy reaching the target. Because I'm a geek and I can.

I'm pretty sure that they are. I don't see how else the Plasma could travel safely to it's target otherwise... But if you're looking for an official answer, I dunno if GW ever made it clear... SeanJamesCanavi 01:53, 17 January 2009 (CET)

I changed the claim of "Many weapons have multiple power settings which," to "because of this limitation, the heavy plasma gun has an alternative low energy setting, though less effective than a full-powered blast, allows for more rapid firing" As the source cited states it to be specific to the HEAVY plasma gun and not any other, that I know of at least.

It was a misquotation and inferrence, but has now been fixed to be properly cited from Wargear 2nd Edition. Sol Deepdelving 14:54, 23 October 2024 (GMT)
