The Jericho Reach is located in Segmentum Ultima at the borders of the empire . At its center lies the Hadex anomaly, with several Daemon Worlds . It is connected to the Koronus Expanse in Segmentum Obscurus through the Jericho-Maw warp gate. ^{1, pp. 322}

Hive Fleet Dagon falls into the region from the northeast. In the south, have Tau colonized several worlds. Since the 777th M41 the Imperium has been pursuing the Achilus Crusade, also known as the Dead Crusade. The troops and fleets involved are from the Segmentum Obscurus and use the warp gate to travel to the area. ^{1, pp. 337}
