The Sarnekh Dynasty is a Necron Dynasty based from the Tomb World of Zapennec.^[1]

During the War in Heaven, the fleets of Zapennec fought valiantly to repel an Eldar assault of incalculable size. However the resulting battle left a great graveyard of wreckage orbiting their planet and during the sixty million year Great Sleep of the Necrons it would be protected by a shroud of wraithbone and living metal.^[1]

Currently, the Sarnekh Dynasty is ruled over by Thaszar the Invincible, the self-styled pirate king.^[1] Thaszar gained control over the Dynasty after overriding the master control system on Zapennec into recognizing him as Phaeron.^[2]
