The Battle of Bloodstar was a disastrous Imperial Navy defeat during the Third Tyrannic War.^[1]

An Imperial Navy fleet from Ultima Segmentum under Admiral Trankar attempting to defend Imperial space from Hive Fleet Leviathan became ambushed by two separate tendrils of the Hive Fleet.^[1]
