Flower of Cadia (Song)
The Flower of Cadia is an old[1d] patriotic Imperial[1a] hymn,[1d] from the Fortress World Cadia.[1a]
History
It was named after the Chrysanthus flower, which was a symbol of the Fortress World,[1b] and the Flower of Cadia's lyrics are about remembrance and sacrifice. The song could also be played just as an instrumental and both versions were used to keep up Cadia's morale, during the 13th Black Crusade.[1c] It was regularly song by Cadians,[1a] played by Astra Militarum Military Bands[1d] and the instrumental version was used in war broadcasts sent out during the invasion.[1c]
