White Lightning
The White Lightning was an Ork tribe fighting for the Over-Fiend of Octarius during the Third War for Armageddon. The tribe represented the largest coalition of Speed Freeks on Armageddon, forming a roving, mechanised horde attacking the water processing plants and pipelines across the icy salt-flats of Armageddon's Deadlands that provide the drinking water for the Hives on the mainland.[1]
During the Battle of Dante's Canyon, the White Lightning deployed ski-equipped warbikes and wartraks to attack an oil-drilling platform defended by the Tulwar Brotherhood of the White Scars Space Marines. The battle was a decisive victory for the White Scars, with many Ork vehicles breaking through the ice despite their precautions.[2]
Their tribal colours were steel and red, with yellow and red flame motifs, with a tribal glyph in the form of three white lightning bolts.[1]
