Abelard Werserian

Abelard Werserian is the Seneschal of the von Valancius Rogue Trader House, which is led by Theodora von Valancius.[1]
History
He is Theodora's loyal right hand and their relationship began when they first met during a joint operation between Imperial Navy and Rogue Trader forces. At that time, Theodora was eccentric and wayward Rogue Trader, while Werserian was a diligent and imperious first officer on an Imperial Navy Cruiser. Despite being as different as night and day, they learned to appreciate and respect each other and when the operation was done, Theodora claimed Werserian as House von Valancius' new Seneschal. It has been decades since he took the position and time and its tribulations have turned Werserian's hair gray and his demeanor even more difficult than it was in his Imperial Navy days. Yet he is still one of the Rogue Trader House's most reliable crew members and remains vigilant against threats to the von Valancius trade empire. Werserian is fiercely loyal to the empire he helped build and views anything that endangers this precious creation as a personal threat. And there are many that lurk in the depths of the Koronus Expanse, as it is home to great and fearsome powers. It is not yet known, if the aging Seneschal's hands still have enough strength to hold Theodora's trade empire together and protect it from ruin.[1]
