The Athonian Tunnel Rats are Imperial Guard Regiments from the Imperial world of Athonos.[1][2a]

Overview
Governance of Athonos is vied for by dozens of rival families. The resultant gang warfare - fought in the streets and sewers of the hydroponic gardens - is brutal and unending. Such is the recruiting ground for the Athonian Tunnel Rats. They are masters of urban combat and amongst the most determined close-quarters fighters of the Imperial Guard.[1][2a]
Known Regiments
- Athonian 18th — Known as the "Children of Ganthos".[2a]
- 112th Regiment — Fought on Ghubelia[3]
- Athonian 211th — Fought on Hishrea during the Argovon Campaign.[4]
- Athonian 992nd — Known as the "Vagrant Blades".[2b]
