Canoptek Parasite

Canoptek Parasites are Necron Canoptek constructs, which are designed to weave themselves into the fabric of a Necron and seize control of its motor actuators.[1]

Description

They appear to be masses of machinery and when activated, the Parasites clamp around the upper half of a Necron's body. The Canopteks were originally designed to let Crypteks make use of Necrons, whose flux-cores had failed during the Great Sleep. The Parasites would supply the dormant shell with power, allowing the Necrons' body to be moved under a Cryptek's control. However these Canoptek could be used for more insidious and crueler purposes, such as being attached to an already active Necron. Doing so, allows the Parasites to make their victims prisoners within their own bodies.[1]
