The Guns of Freedom are an Alpha Legion Warband.[1]
History
They number few actual Alpha Legion members and instead largely consist of a sizeable force of militia. While they are commanded by the Chaos Lord Roek Ghulclaw, his orders to the militia are carried out by Traitor General Andol. Most of the Guns of Freedom's original makeup died in aiding in the downfall of the Imperial world Makenna VII, but they have since regrown their numbers. The Guns are currently among the Alpha Legion Warbands, that are active in Ultima Segmentum.[1]
In M42, they were one of the warbands that joined Solomon Akurra's Ghost Legion coalition of Alpha Legion warbands.[1]
